I spent the last semester of my senior year at the University of North Florida interning with Connect Agency. As a digital marketing and public relations intern, I took on a variety of tasks, including creating a flow of content ideas for clients through industry research and understanding of target audiences, developing newsworthy angles to promote clients as industry experts and producing polished media materials to garner client coverage. I also created successful SEO and email campaigns, social and Google ad campaigns and built quarterly marketing reports.
Because of Connect, I am entering the professional workforce with a thorough understanding of the communications field and a strong skill set in marketing and public relations.

Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside is a 528-bed hospital founded by the Daughters of Charity in 1916. It is part of St. Vincent’s HealthCare and Ascension, the nation’s largest Catholic and non-profit healthcare system. I worked on various public relations efforts for them, such as creating briefing books, columns, feature stories and media pitches.
As the oldest law firm in continuous existence in the State of Florida, the Bedell Firm carries on its tradition of litigation excellence, both in state and federal courts. For the Bedell Firm, I created email campaigns, blogs and social media content. I also helped build quarterly marketing reports, assisted in improving brand reputation by building connections for the attorneys on LinkedIn and built media audits.
The Parker Group is a family-owned real estate and development consulting firm based in Greenville, South Carolina. For The Parker Group, I helped with marketing efforts such as creating monthly social and blog content calendars, scheduling content and monitoring social platforms and finding timely topics to share on social. I also wrote and edited blog content.
Lennar Corporation is a home construction and real estate company based in Miami, Florida. For Lennar, my public relations tasks included drafting media pitches and press releases.
Specializing in coastal southern cuisine, Barbara Jean’s On The Water is a favorite among locals and visitors alike, conveniently located in Ponte Vedra Beach and offering picturesque views of the Intracoastal Waterway. I acted as an account coordinator for Barbara Jean’s, managing their social media and creating social ad campaigns.
Beachwalk is an award-winning community that is re-imagining the residential landscape in St. Johns County. I created monthly social media and blog content calendars for Beachwalk, monitored their social platforms daily and wrote blogs. I also helped with public relations efforts such as drafting media pitches and press releases.
Florida Eye Specialists is one of the largest multi-specialty ophthalmology private practices in Northeast Florida.
